yeah for you! We would have liked to go during Christmas and New Years, our 20th anniversary is on the 29th, but the kids don't want to be away during their school break (crazy I know!). Our first trip was in '01 and we went to the MVMCP just after Thanksgiving and it was neat, you'll love all of the decorations for the holidays!

Fro Christmas we make sure to stop by the Deluxe resorts and see their Trees and displays. Gingerbread house at the GF, The Merry-go-round and train set at Y/BC. The lodges have great trees as well.

We have only stayed during Christmas. It was magical to say the least, however it was very crowded. Just a little tip if you are interested. We slept in, had lunch and went to the pool. Then around 5pm we headed to the park for ADR's. I made adrs in parks with extra magic hours. We stayed for extra magic hours and it was fantastic, the crowds disappeared and the wait for rides was minimal. We were in MK getting off POC at 3am. We did this our entire stay and it was phenominal. Have a magical time and don't miss the snow on Main Street. Oh, and by the way a CM told us that the fireworks at Epcot during Christmas are double the amount of the rest of the year. I was moved to tears. Enjoy, wish we were going too.

I hope you have a magical time. I think the most beautifull time of the year is Christmas time and the most magical place to be is Disney, so you are getting the best of both worlds.
