I think that's the only reason I'd be interested in it, I've heard that before, I was pretty impressed.

Re: Garden Grill

My DDs love this TS!

The food was really fresh and the kids meal comes with a decorate your own cupcake. It isn't a large place, so you get great character interaction and the place rotates through The Land attraction, so that's interesting!

I've heard hit or miss with the food, but we've never had a problem. The wait staff has always been attentive, characters good and the veggies deelish!

Our server at LTT told me that their veggies were grown on site as well? Who knew?

I'd say try it once for yourself. I called again today to try and get an ADR, for Xmas week and could not. I was told now that lunch is discontinued, and with the place being so small . . . that getting seating there was going to be hard!

Re: Garden Grill

We absolutely love this place. The food has always been very good, and our service has been outstanding. The character interaction is one of the best in the parks, imho.

I agree- we have character photos over the years which show our boys growing up. The character interaction is the best at WDW.

Re: Garden Grill

I would agree Character interaction is great. We liked the food and the veggies were really good too. I won't say the food is excellent I will just say it was good.

Re: Garden Grill

This was our first character dining restaurant. I've always felt the atmosphere and character interaction as great but the food was just ok. The food didn't seem to have much seasoning to me and was kinda bland. Interesting enough I would eat there again but only if I couldn't get into another table service restaurant.

Re: Garden Grill

We ate there in March and it was great. There was SO MUCH character interaction. The food was pretty good, but nothing great. I did love the potato casserole though. The best part was definitely how much you get to see the characters. My then 14 month old loved the characters.

I am sad to hear they aren't offering lunch anymore. I wonder why not? When we were there for lunch it was packed.

Re: Garden Grill

We've been several times. I've never liked the food, but DD8 LOVES the character time and the "spinning floor". She asks to go back every year.

I agree with you Amanda, it's not as visually appealing as it could be. It rotates and that's cool but I never really thought it was very attractive, all that wood paneling is start to look a little old.

Well, in my opinion, you don't have to be old to know what vintage EPCOT would be, you'd just have had to known what EPCOT looked years ago, which is very easy. And especially for people who love to research Disney. But the land is retro in EPCOT, because it's something very old in EPCOT. That's all that vintage is. I think thats what Amanda means

But I love the land, becasue when I was young we always went there, and made arts and crafts, and the Timon & Pumbaa. Good times in that place! Plus, it was a very frequent mid-day rain hide-a-way! ^.^
