Finding Maleficent
Hi Disney fans...We have a trip planned for July and my son's favorite character is Maleficent. Besides in the parade at MK, where can we find Maleficent in a meet and greet? I am sure there must be some expert out there that would know. We've been to WDW many times and we have never found this character. We are going to be staying at the AKL (for the first time:D ) Does anyone have any tips on the AKL and how to get an upgrade to a Savanah view room? This is our first post on DC and this is fun!! :)

Let me be the first one to welcome you to Disney Central. What I would do for an upgrade to savannah view is to fax them about 4-5 days before you are due to check in and ask them politely if there would be any possibility of a complimentary upgrade. That worked for my mother and I this past February,although we only got upgraded to a pool-view room.

as to Maleficent, we found her at the Studios last year and she was a blast .. being a real witch !!! it was so much fun they way she carried on was so in charactor. .. she was at the Sorceres Hat in front of GMR

Thanks for spreading that pixie dust Tink! It would be sooo cool to see her. Speaking of being a witch one year at Epcot we saw all seven dwarfs, Snow White and....the Evil Queen :devil in her witch form! She was after Dopey and he was hiding behind my son and I while my Hubbie caught the whole event on tape. ;)
Was Maleficent's appearance on a list or schedule?

We found Maleficent, The Queen of Hearts and Capt. Hook where 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea used to be, right near Pooh's ride.
