Save the tavern!!!
So I've learned even more cuts are planned for us in Entertainment starting next year. Next to go...the character dining experience of Goofy's Liberate Your Appetite dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern! I can handle some of the other cuts. But this is too much. It's a terrific shift for entertainment CMs and has great hours, but to take the characters out of the Tavern dinner, really is too much I feel.
Posted is a website to petition to keep the characters at the Tavern for dinner! I've done many, MANY nights at the Tavern, and have thoroughly enjoyed performing there! I signed it...#785 and I am not a fan of LTT, but to cut character meals, please! Have them cut something else, not something that is specifically for the kids and costs extra anyway!

Disney raises their ticket prices. Serves the same food at the same prices and still cuts the characters? NO way!!

That's a lousy decision. They should at least lower the dinner prices if they remove the characters. I have never been there strictly because the menu didn't appeal to me, but I came close to going with friends a few times for the character part. Now there's no reason at all for me to try it.

This news is hitting me like a slap in the face. I have never eaten at the Tavern, but all this cutting stuff makes me upset. I can only go in the off season, which means the parks are open less hours to begin with, now taking away a lot of the entertainment makes me want to cancel my January trip.
