What to do for New Year's Eve?

We are so excited about being in the World on New Year's Eve. The problem is we have no idea what we want to do. One day we lean toward a nice relaxing evening on the beach at the Dolphin catching the fireworks. The next day we are trying to decide which park we want to be in at mid-night.
We are of a family of three with a daughter who will turn two on our week long trip. I'm sure by NYE we will all be ready to relax, but we hate to miss out on the extra magic. Still DD will be crashed out in her stroller, so I'm just not sure.
Any thoughts, ideas, past experiences would relly help.

We were there this past New Year's Eve. We went to Epcot and had reservations for their RocknRoll New Years Eve buffet. When we got to the park about 11:30 the parking lot to MK was already full so were really glad we weren't going there! Epcot was crowded, but we had a very good time. The buffet was excellent. The entertainment was cool too. You can make reservations any time, so if you want to eat and go back to the room you can. It was also wonderful that our reservations coincided with the monsoon that struck around 9:00 pm!

I intend to be at Epcot this new Year's Eve even if I have to be a resort guest to be guaranteed a spot, because most of the time on New Year's Eve,the parks close to capacity which means only resort guests will be let in.

We were not on site guest but did have to wait for about 40 minutes to buy a ticket. We were really in town for a football game but I can't go to Orlando and experience a little Disney. If you go to Epcot check out the Rock n Roll buffet. I only found out about it on a website, the CM didn't even know about it when I called for PS.

We stayed at the Dolphin last NYE (actually, the entire week between Xmas and New Year's Day). The weather was unusually cold last year, so you'd better have a back-up plan for that "laying on the beach and watching fireworks" idea (even though it sounds nice). Last NYE, even though it was raining cats and dogs, we had a great time! We had dinner reservations at le Cellier in Canada for our group of seven (including my 19-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter and 10-year old niece). We hit Epcot about 7 p.m., made the rounds (and got lots of great free souvenir hats and noisemakers) and then had dinner about 9:30 p.m. We finished dinner just in time to see the fireworks and midnight. In a word: AWESOME. They declared "Happy New Year" in each "land" in the World Showcase in the order in which the new year actually arrived. There were separate fireworks displays for each "happy new year," but the biggest and best was reserved for Happy New Year in Orlando, of course. Hope you have a great time!:)

Thanks guys. EPCOT is starting to sound better and better, so what exactly is this Rock and Roll Buffet? How much does it cost and how/when do I make PS?

Although we have never been to Disney during New Years Eve we have been talking about it for next year. The few people that I have talked to that have been there during that time all say to be at EPCOT. So I think that when we go thats where we will be. :)
