Re: PhotoPass

I know that you have already pre-order the photopass CD, but this is for others who have not.

We went in January and used photopass for lots of pictures. I logged on when the vacation was over and then pre-ordered the CD for the same discounted price. Just remember that you only have 30 days after you log on and begin editing/viewing pictures. I wanted to make sure the cost was worth it. It definitely was! We got some great family photos of all of us, including my camera in all the parks.

Re: PhotoPass

okay, I too am right up there with Lisa - how do we pre order the CD? That sounds like a great idea - since my 1 year old and 2 year old don't know how to take good pics yet.

thanks,
margaret.

Check out post #16 - there is the correct link to pre ordering the CD. I am still considerng it but I am not 100% sold - even with all the rave reviews Yep, can't make a decision to save my life!

Re: PhotoPass

okay, so how does Disney know that all those pics are mine and are sent to me when I sign in? Do I use the same photopass card when I get pics taken? Or do I just collect all the photcards and when I get home I put the codes from the back of the photo cards to get all my pics?

I am just trying to get this all figured out before we go, so I get all those pics on the CD when I get home and order them. I love the idea, and can't wait.

thanks,
margaret.

You get a photopass card from the first photographer you see. There's a number on that card, much like a credit card. Everytime you see another photographer you give him that card, he'll swipe it and take your pictures.
Make sure you write down that number and keep it save, that's in case you loose that card, and need to get a new one from the next photographer. Those cards can later be combined somehow. Someone else will know how that part works

We were there last September and used the card and were not sure of what to expect. When we were ready to leave and looked at it all they were as shocked as we were...we had nearly 400 photos accumulated! In their words..."you guys were "everywhere"! Over a 10 day stay..and with a 3 year old then...I guess we did get around. It included the photos we had at MNSSHP also and after reviewing it we dug down in our pockets and got it.

Great decision as we had that to make photo's for anyone, Christmas cards etc...

We are headed back the end of next week for 8 days and still debating on this since we splurged last year... Once you see the quality, it gets to you though.

Re: PhotoPass

We're not going to pre-order the photo CD but we definitly will use photopass. I don't think it's worth pre-ordering for something I haven't even seen. I also know people who paid $99. to save that $25. but only ended up with 12 pictures. So, I'll just view them all when I get back from my trip & if there's alot of good shots I'll get the CD. My cousin did one of those photo books at CVS (it's cheaper) and it is awesome! I think I'll do that instead of scrapbooking.

I saw those photo books at CVS too. They look pretty nice since they have Disney borders etc. I also signed up in their photo section and got 50 free 4x6 prints after I added my CVS card #. I am saving them to use for photos of our trip in Oct

Snapfish also gives you free prints when you first sign up.

But that's just the point I made up there somewhere in a post, if you don't like what you see or there are not enough pictures to make it worth your money, they'll refund you the $99.

Re: PhotoPass

We used photopass but didn't use it enough to make it useful, there was about 8 photo's on the account.

If you decide to use it, I say use it as much as you can because I regreted the days I forgot it.

Re: PhotoPass

I am back from my vacation, and I am trying to edit my photo pass pictures. I have a great picture of my children that I would like to give as a gift, however I have a man that is actually in the back round, and is looking straight into the picture, and I am trying to block him out. I can't even hide him after I put the picture in a frame I already tried. Can anyone tell me if I can edit him out of the picture. Please help time is running out.

Re: PhotoPass

You can if you have certain photo software..I used to have something called picture it, a long time ago, and it would easily fix that..Im not sure what is on the market now to fix something like that though..I would check around..
