was e-ride nights every open to everyone?

I feel like a real dummy because I could have sworen E-ride nights have always been like EE .. only for Disney World resort guest. But DisneyAnne had posted that she went and I know she had posted on another thread that she had never stayed on-site.
so am I totally lame? was it actually available to everyone one at one time?

I'm 99% sure that it is only open to WDW resort guests.

By the way, Tink....you are getting really close! Only 56 more days! It'll be here before you know it!

When I went to E-nights, I was staying at one of the DTD hotels. They are offered some of the same benefits as onsite resorts. I don't think they are afforded the opportunity for EE, but they are guaranteed admission to the parks and can buy LOS passes. I simply went to Guest Services on Main Street, showed them my DTD hotel pass and paid for the E-night armbands.

For more information on DTD hotels, you can find them at http://www.downtowndisneyhotels.com

no .. time has slowed to a creeping crawl .... thats why I am still up !!! I cant sleep .. why in the heck has the clock stopped?? and tomorrow I have to take the girls home ..for some crazy reason thier mom and dad miss them and want to see them this summer .. sheesh the nerve !!

DisneyAnne ohh ok well thats staying on site . .. maybe not a disney owned resort ..but your still on WDW property. but I didnt know you could get the tickets at the park .. we were always told we had to buy ours at the resort and then take that and our pass to them at the parks to get the wrist band for EE. Thats really great if the DTD hotels have it available. I remember the first year they started E-ride nights we were asked at check in did we want to purchase or tickets right then. I am so excited that there are so many nights available while we are going to be there this time.
