Hi all,

Are there deals out there to get Disney Park Hopper tix? My family seems to think so, because I was going to go to the Disney Store and get my tix here, before heading down to WDW.

There aren't any deals that I know of, but the more days you buy the cheaper it works out. You won't save any money by buying them at the Disney store vs at WDW itself. We're going for 11 days and I was going to get just a 7 day park hopper ticket because we plan on going to some outlets, maybe Seaworld too. But I ended up getting the 10 day because it was not very much more money. I can't remember now but only like $50 more for our family of 4.

Margaret, the only real deal I know of is that the more days you put on the ticket, the cheaper your days are. So, like if you are planning on going for a five-day trip, you can buy 10-day PH tickets at a very cool per-day price and use the leftover days on another trip sometime (though you will have to pay an initial higher price to get the no-expire option).

I have seen cheaper tickets on sale at eBay and so forth, which sounds like a really truly bad idea. And I have never been brave enough to buy from an off-site ticket broker.

You can also look into the math of buying an AP for one person in your party. With that, you have a full year of park entry, plus the option of buying for $60 the Tables In Wonderland, which gets you 20 percent off your dining and drinks for everyone in your party at the table. If you are planning on lots of dining and drinking, that savings can add up to a real savings that can make the AP a wise buy in the end.

Margaret check out the deals at your local AAA office. They usually have some deals. You might need to sign up to be a member. But if you know someone that is a AAA member you can go with them and buy the tickets.

I would never buy them on eBay. One of my moms from the mom panel said she tried it before and it was a scam. She got to Disney and they were fake.

Unless it's AAA I'd stick with buying from Disney. There are other sites out there that offer discounts but I'd be hesitant to trust some of them.

We used Maple Leaf (or something like that) and saved $5-10 a ticket or so several years ago. There are reputable brokers out there.. Just make sure you check Disney chat sites or Mousesavers.com for a list/references before you buy.
DO NOT BUY ON EBAY. There are a million reasons... you could probably find them in one of the threads here at Mousebuzz!

Personally, since then, I have just bought from Disney because I like them added on to my room. If I lost them or had a problem, then Disney can "fix" it b/c it is in their system w/ my reservation.

Also, It is usually 3 of us on the trip- so, it is worth $15-30 to me in the big picture of the cost of the trip to have the peace of mind. If you are really trying to save $ like we were the first trip, it may be worth it!

It is wise to stay away from ebay. I've heard of many people getting a bad deal.

I usually get my hopper passes from Maple Leaf Tickets or Ticketmania. I have purchased them multiple times. We've never had a problem. Their prices are lower than buying direct from Disney, and I believe shipping and tax is included.

I bought DD's 10 day MYW Park Hopper + Water Park and More for $50 LESS than through Disney Directly! Like Mousesavers said, in their emails they have links to Undercover Tourist that can save you a chunk of change.

I have used Maple Leap Tickets in the past...actually, we use them ALL THE TIME (except this time, since I got such a great deal through Undercover Tourist through Mousesavers)! Their customer service is great. We usually go there to pick up our tickets...it's right on 192 (Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy). Omar (the owner) is great to deal with!

Your better off getting your tickets thru a 3rd party vendor, such as AAA travel (I use them) or mapleleaftickets.com. Maple leaf has been low in the past but I dont know how they've been more recently.

WOW Jennatraz, I did get a good deal using the Mousesavers link for Undercover Tourist! I paid $430 for a child 10 day MYW Non Expiring Park Hopper Water Park Fun and More ticket...it's listed here through AAA for $502.

It was Maple Leaf that we used- I remember Omar! He was really awesome! I was hesitant to use 3rd party tickets too- after talking to him + the savings we went with it. They were on time w/no issues.
