safe place for hopper receipt

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to keep my park hopper receipt for safe keeping? I was told to treat it like travellers check receipts - but we're not using them (using debit card for spending $). Could I leave it home with my mom and have her fax it to me if I happen to lose my park hopper card? Would they honor a fax? If DH puts it in his wallet, that's where his hopper card will be and I don't plan on carrying a pocketbook. Any suggestions?

We lost two of our tickets on our 3rd day last Aug. We had no receipt. The CM we talked to was so nice. Disney had a computer record of our purchase, when we bought, how many days left and just issued us replacement tickets. I was really scared when they were first gone (DS left them at a Fast Pass) but it was handled in Disney like fashion. We didn't even buy our tickets at Disney. We got them at the Maple Leaf Ticket office. I was sure glad we had used a reputable place (saved over 100.00 dollars too)
