We were able to attend this last week, our second one as we went last year as well.
The festivities begin promptly at 7:00pm when the lines open for dressed character visits...candy hand outs and dancing and games. Anyone in the park without the required wristband is checked as we saw several times occur. If you are in line for a ride or a character greeting you are reminded the park is closed and you need to leave unless you have a wristband on. It was handled in a nice manner but with a firm tone. The fireworks are awesome as is the parade. We catch the second parade and seem to encounter less crowds for some reason. We have plenty of candy at nights end (the good stuff too as in chocolate bars and such) and have ample time to make the rounds and get in some rides if we choose sine many are dead. Everything is as controlled as it can be and we even saw several dream squad members roaming throughout the park during this time frame as well. |
