Hello!

I was wondering if there is a way to get to the Tusker House restaurant (which is, if im not mistaken, very far from the entrance gate).. quickly. The thing is, we have a breakfast scheduled at 8.30 in the morning. So we'll leave the hotel, go straight to the park, then we'll need to go straight to Tusker House for the breakfast, and only after were done, we'll visit the park.

So.... is walking the only way to get there? If so, how long do you think it takes, from entrance gate to the restaurant?

I am not sure on the distance from the entry for Tusker house but I know it is closer then the old character breakfast at Resturantasuars (spelling sorry)

Also, if the park opens after your ADR you just need to go to the check in counter on the other side of the ticket booths. They will know to let you in and then cms will point the way. It is really nice, when we ate at Resturant..
we had one long walk before hand but afterwards we had the whole back of the park to our selves. It was great!

There really is no "short cuts" if you're not a CM. Since your breakfast is before the park officially opens, all the roads and paths that don't take you to Africa will be roped off, so it forces you to go one route only. But don't fret. If you do a quick walk, from front gate to Africa, you'll be there in a little less than 5 minutes. Plus the Breakfast is soooooooooooooooo delicious and my characters there are sooooooo great. So enjoy!

Has anyone ever eaten lunch here before? We are going to eat lunch here and we've never been before! By the way, Donald's Breakfast is awesome!

You won't have any trouble getting to Tusker House...
And may I make a suggestion? Have someone in your party leave the meal for a moment soon after the park opens and head over to Kilmanjaro Safaris to get fast passes for your group. The line for that attraction gets really long really fast, and knowing you have a FP will make the meal mor enjoyable because you won't feel rushed.

Yes, I have eaten lunch at Tusker House. It's a very good buffet, but remember that the only time characters are there is at breakfast. I've heard the breakfast is wonderful with lots of character interaction (it's also about the only place you can find Daisy Duck)
