Re: What attractions could you live without?

When you start thinking about it....there's lots we don't do

MK - Stitch's Great Escape, all of Toon Town, Teacups, Alladin's Carpets, Country Bears Jamboree, Tom Sawyer's Island

AK - Rafiki's Planet, the "carnival rides" in Dinoland (except Primeval Hurl - er Whirl)

Epcot - Mission to Mars, I, personally, don't do Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, the rest of the family does.

HS - both stunt shows - car thing and Indiana Jones. We only do the Tour every few years.

Sorry to shock you. We didn't go to WDW until 1999. I bet it was before then, right?

Now I see. Thank you for the link. I bookmarked that page for future reference

Re: What attractions could you live without?

I gladly skip right over the following attractions:

MK - Tom Sawyer's Island (is it still open?) and The Tree House. I forget that dreaded Tree House is still there. I bet my son would love it. We generally only do Toon Town once every 7th visit.

EPCOT - HISTA is horrible. How has this attraction NOT been redone yet?

DS - Sounds Dangerous. WHY would I want to just sit in the dark for 20 minutes?? I can go into my closet here at my house, turn off the light and just sit there and guess the sounds. Same concept.

I agree that the whole park is desperate need of a rehab (and maybe include some worthy CS while they redo it!) We LOVE RnR, ToT and we like Indiana Jones and the car show, too. Besides the great opportunity to meet lots of characters and those 4 attractions the park is a bust. (Oh and Miss Caisley loves Playhouse Disney and it IS cute.)

AK - Dinoland. Specifically, Primeval Whirl.

Everything else in AK is wondahful.

Amen to that! That has got to be the worse attraction ever!

Re: What attractions could you live without?

MK..Swiss Family Tree house, Tea cup, Tom Sawyers Island, Stitches Great Escape and that Indy car thing.

Epcot..Mission to Mars, HISTA

HS.. Everything can go except TOT and RnR. Everything else is a waste of space, including the restaurants.

Interesting thread!

MK: Stitch, Laugh Floor, Indy Cars, Tiki Room Under New Mgmt.

EPCOT: HISTA , maybe half the Innoventions stuff... I love all of Epcot really!

HS: Beauty and the Beast, Catastrophe Canyon etc, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (or did it get replaced...?) Sounds Dangerous, Playhouse Disney Live (I'm not a parent yet!) Indy Jones show, and looots of other stuff. I'm only down with half of HS these days...

AK: about a third of the whole park. Mostly just everything in dinoland, save for the Dinosaur ride.

Wait wait WAIT...

Dreamfinder is RETURNING?!?!

I don't know if thats good or bad. He kind of scared me and my brother when we were little, at least live and in person anyways. I don't mind his loss much at all, but if Disney wants to roll old school again, fine by me...

Seriously though, when are these changes gonna happen? I was hoping to do Imagination with my parents in 3 weeks...

I agree with a number of people here: DHS is pretty sad. At least the 'streetmosphere' is like nothing I've ever seen before. (aka AWESOME!) So if I hop on a thrill ride with pops my mom and find a bench and enjoy the show.

Re: What attractions could you live without?

Haha..it's so weird to think about what you don't like in the parks.
Mk..um....uh...I don't know. I think I love everything here.

Epcot....That other thing in the Land that's not LWTL or Soarin..it has like Lion King characters. I don't even know what it's called so obviously it's not important to my life. And that Honey I Shrunk the Audience noise needs to go!

MGM..I'm a sucker for the studios. There needs to be a lot of updating on rides and shows but I don't think I'd get rid of anything.

AK: That terrible terribly awful horrendous and scary stupid Bird Show.

Do you mean the Circle of Life? I love that show. I have no idea why....maybe it's because I go there when I'm tired, but I find it relaxing.

I think Ellen's Energy Adventure needs a total rehab. I use to enjoy it. Now I just think it is too long and not exciting enough. They could do a lot more with a jurassic theme....oh wait! they have...it's called Dinosaur.

Re: What attractions could you live without?

FYI - Sounds Dangerous is ALL GONE, boarded up and getting ready to be the AMERICAN IDOL show/event whatever it's going to be . . . the sign is up, but it's got all those boards around the entrance.

This is hard . . . I LOVE all things Disney good or bad!

MK: Stitch

AK: Hmmm we love this park (We love animals!) um Primeval Whirl I guess (too many bruises)

Epcot: NOTHING don't change a thing . . . well Honey I shrunk the audience can go and Ellen's Energy needs a refurb . . . EVERY time we tried to go on it was BROKEN down!!

HS: There is SO MUCH to do at this park. We spent 3 hours in the animation studios just doing one drawing with an animator after another. It was so interesting and FUN!! There were also REAL animators painting cells in the offices which SHOCKED me cuz I thought they had moved EVERYTHING back to CA??
