I have to agree with that one! Geez, that movie makes me feel really old, lol!

My DS (5) would freak out if they took out Star Tours, he's totally obsessed with Star Wars these days.

I do! I find it really interesting!

Of course... I'm easy. All it takes is Mickey-shaped vegetables and I'm in.

Re: What attractions could you live without?

I can only think of a couple things. First, and most of all, STiTCH! That is the dumbest ride I have ever been on! Then, there's Star Tours. Rode it for the first time in August, and will hate to ever ride it again.

Re: What attractions could you live without?

I was just curious, what it is about Playhouse Disney that people seem to dislike? My son watches Playhouse Disney and loves a lot of the characters, so I thought he would enjoy it. I was just wondering.

Only 1 attraction comes to mind; Sounds Dangerous at HS. I just don't get it.

Re: What attractions could you live without?

MK: Snow White (they could have made such a cute ride... why is there hardly a trace of Snow White in it??), Stitch (omg UGH... hate it... and SO MAD that they took out Alien Encounter because it was "too scary"..... Stitch terrifies children just as much!!)
EC: Universe of Energy (good for a nap, and that's about it), Mission Space (because I'm bitter over the loss of Horizons), Circle of Life (meh), HISTA (beyond outdated) .................. (Why do I have so many here?? Epcot is my favorite park! )
HS: Backlot Tour (good idea but it needs a major revamp)
AK: Primeval Whirl () and all of Dinoland!! What a cheesy, non-Disney idea. The whole midway "how much money can we soak up from you?" theme just doesn't work for me.

And I do LOVE Living With The Land! I like the little rainforest/prairie/farm scenes, and their greenhouse always fascinates me... must be the geek in me.

I have an answer to this. Here is a quote from Jim Hill in the 2009 unofficial guide:
" According to the original design of Snow White's Scary Adventures, the guests riding were supposed to think they were Snow White experiencing everything that happend to the heroine of the 1937 animated feature. Unfortunately, so few guests got the drift that Disney eventually had to admit defeat. So when this Fantasyland attraction was revamped in December 1994, the Imagineers actually put the figure of Snow White in the very first scene of the ride, as if to say "Look! There she is! Now are you happy?"

I don't like the ride either. It's sort of not good looking, it reminds me or a carnival ride.

ohhhh ok, I see, now that I know what they were going for. I guess I'm one of those guests that didn't get the drift. I agree, it feels very carnival-ish and almost thrown together... it seems like the other rides have so much more detail.

DS7 (6 last year) was totally freaked about the large Playhouse Disney Characters. Primarily because they are cartoons at home and huge costumes at WDW. The Dance Party was a cool idea, but it was very loud in a smallish space and the program moved so fast it was overwhelming. DS7 said it was creepy and confusing.
