What's happened with E-Ride?
Anyone know if the policy regarding the sale of E-Ride tickets has changed?
We have always enjoyed the nights that e-ride was available and the short lines. This past Tuesday, June 17th though there was a huge crowd for e-ride with increased wait times. I was disappointed in that I brought my parents this time to enjoy Disney and the e-ride nights. I thought Disney only sold 5,000 e-ride passes and was wondering if anyone knew of a policy change to let such large crowds in, or what happened this last Tuesday. Thanks, John :) |

Welcome to DisneyCentral. As far as I understand it, Disney has not changed policies, though that 5,000 number has never been officially announced by Disney. My guess is just that the park was sold out, and that at that level, it seems full, since many of the rides are closed. One other option is that one or two of the rides that are normally open, were either out of order or closed, which would put a strain on the rest of the rides. Sorry you had a bad experience, hopefully it will be better next time.

Past three years of e-rides have never seen it that full. All the rides were operating, thank goodness. I have never seen the streets so filled. We went just two weeks ago, being passholders, and it was super, this week it was packed. I was just wondering if some insider knew what happened.
Still in love with Disney though! John :) |
