I'm actually kind of glad about this.... that they're only adding and not taking away.

The character interaction... I don't really care. I like it when characters dance. I think I'm going to have to see it in person, though, before I'll know if I miss the characters walking.

I was able to catch CaDCT on Feb. 10. I really enjoyed it. I got a few pics before my camera battery went dead and the back-up was dead as well

IT was colorful and fun. The floats were the same, but the characters had new costumes. So, here are a few pics.

talked to someone yesterday who was in Disney last week & said the parade was awesome....i said 'OMG i 'know' one of the stilt walkers'...he said they were very cool & energetic!! loved the parade!! now im really really excited to see it!!! 1 month.....

This is not the one with the stilt walkers. I believe Rowdy has a different role in this parade. This is a great parade though. The floats are really colorful and the character costumes are fun.

MISICI (Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it!) has the stilt walkers.

I'll bet they were. I missed this parade last Friday, unfortunately, due to poor planning on my part. We can't wait to see it in Sept. though. Thanks for sharing your friend's opinion.

I've 3 (4 if you count float spotter/driver) for CDCT. I help Goofy, Beast and Jafar. This summer I'll be walking stilts for MISICI into helping Beast in CDCT 4 days a week.

Our daughter and her high school band will be (we were told) leading off the DCT parade that now seems to be called CaDCT parade, the weekend of following Thanksgiving Day.

Need Advice Please!!!...Where should I stand to get a good video?
Where does the parade begin, travel and end?

We step off at 3pm weather permitting and in Town Square of Main Street. That means the high school band will step off the same place at about 2:50pm, possibly earlier depending on how many bands there are that day and how large they are. They will step down, or get off by Splash Mountain in Frontierland.

I suggest watching in front of the Confectionary in Town Square. It's a perfect spot for the parade to go by as well as your band and you'll get to see both sides of the performers. Plus as far as the parade goes you'll see us when we are fresh and not exhausted and be able to give the best performance.

Get in the spot by 2:30pm to ensure a great view.

Thanks Matt! that's great advice, I'll be there even earlier. I've made lots of family videos at WDW over the years but this one will be the most special. I'm so excited
