The projections are cool. It really makes you feel like your in space! But to me, the ride is too rough. Hopefully once the refurb the ride, there will be new, comfortable seats.

The new seats on Disneyland's SM are MUCH better! They're cushier and formed better so it doesn't feel like you're rattling around in a plastic DMV chair.

I hope they give WDW's Space the same exact treatment.

I remember riding it in 1980 and coming off the ride bruised! You really got knocked around.

My favorite at WDW has to be Soarin.

Never been stuck at WDW, fortunately, but have been stuck at DL several times. Only walked off once, on Splash when I was test-riding it with other cast members and friends before its opening . We got stuck at the top of the second drop and had to walk out. Although, now I'm thinking about that one, I wonder if they were practicing evacuations rather than any actual problems with the ride itself .

My best stuck-ride experience was on DL's POTC. Our boat got stuck at the top of the second drop and wouldn't go over. We could hear them hitting the release manually several times, but we didn't go anywhere . Finally, 2 cast members, one in hip-waders came out a side door. The one with the waders had to get in the water and wade across to the other side of the boat, and then the two of them rocked the boat over the falls. It was actually fun!

My favorite ride is Rock and Roller Coaster. One time when we were on the ride once we got off we were asked if we would like to ride again so,of course, we went thru the little doorway that is marked CM only with a CM. So as we get on they take us around the corner and we are the only ones on the coaster(that is why they let us ride again) this was about the time Final Destination 3 came out about the roller coasters and we had been to the theater to see it anyways as we were sitting around the corner waiting and waiting. We thought something was wrong with the coaster, but as the CM neglected to tell us they were taking a coaster off the track since it wasn't crowded

My favorite "ride" would be Soarin', I guess, but my favorite attraction overall would have to be the Country Bear Jamboree. It's silly,I know, but that's what I like about it; the goofy, wholesome humor just says "Disney" to me!

It's not silly at all. I've only seen the show during Christmas. I love it. Haven't seen it in a couple of years. I think that there is no more Christmas shows.

It actually made me angry. What exactly was more important at that point? Making sure that nobody got hurt during the ride evacuation or making sure that no pictures were taken backstage?

I actually took alot of pictures.. I have them somewhere, I'll post if I can find them. It was sorta scary walking out though b/c it was really really slippery-- they were worried we would fall.

That's probably why they don't want people taking pictures. They want everyone to get out fast and safe.

But how can you pass up an opportunity to get some never-before-seen photos. I would take my time for some pics.

I've taken most of the backstage tours in WDW and they're very adamant about guests not taking pictures backstage. It's as much about preserving the "magic" as it is about preserving proprietary information.
You definitely should not post those pictures, as much as we might want to see them.
