Re: What's Your Favorite Ride?

RNR, ToT, and TT are probably my favorite rides.

This past trip we were riding RNR and their was no music in our "limo" so I said something to the CM when we exited and they asked if we wanted to ride again. Of course we said yes, so they sent us through a back door and we got right on again.

When TT was recently opened I remember it was having quite a few technical problems, that was the year I decided to see how many times I could ride during our whole trip. I believe that number ended up being 14 0r 15 times. However, during those 14 or 15 rides I remember getting stuck all throughout the ride. Sometmes for just 30 seconds and sometimes for 10-15 minutes, but that was ok cause I really like that ride.

One more story about TT. We were either while they were building the ride one year and we had just watched the space shuttle take of while at Epcot. A CM was standing next to us and my dad commented on the construction and the CM said something like "thats a new ride, wanna check it out?" That was a big YES!! The CM took us behind the scenes and showed us the inside of the TT building. It was really cool to see the inside of TT while they were still building it. He told us about several of the different driving tests, but couldn't tell us about all of them, due to some surprises. It was really cool!! I will never forget that!!

Re: What's Your Favorite Ride?

My DH and DDD saw Space Mountain lit up and took pictures and it does look a sorry spectacle in its 'real' format!
And my funny story was when a CM who had noticed my Disney name badge and kept calling out my name whilst in the Haunted Mansion wait area and line.
When we actually got in the buggy he was hiding just inside the ride and as we set off he leant into the buggy and said Goodbye Karen- I nearly had a heart attack and to this day as the buggy rounds the first corner I shy away from the edge in case he's waiting!

That is AWESOME that you got to see Test Track while it was under construction!

When I was on Test Track, I got stuck outside on one of the turns. We were stuck there for about 5-10 minutes. I believe that when we got back to loading area, they sent us out again for another ride.

LOL. My 51 year old dad LOVES the TTA. We HAVE to ride it at least 5 times or more. He demands it.

Re: What's Your Favorite Ride?

Soarin', Splash Mt. and Dinosaur! in that order. Never been stuck on any of these, but I did get stuck on PoTC once in 1990. Somebody dropped their camera in the canal! We watched pirates coaxing the dog with the key for about 15 minutes!! I can remember every detail of that scene now.

LOL. Once when my family and I went on POTC, the one pirate who moves his finger for the dog to come to him was broken. Instead of it bending, it would wiggle back and forth. We thought it was funny.

omg...that would have driven me crazy!!! i am not fond of ToT because I am not a fan of drops, but i love roller coasters...so weird right? i will ride it at least once on every trip, but if that were to EVER happen to me, i think i would FREAK OUT and never ride it again! that would scar me for life that i wouldnt be able to bring myself to get on it again.

For sure there is some rides at Alton Towers such as Nemesis and Air or of cause Stealth and Nemesis inferno at Thorpe Park, also the big one (Pepsi max) at Blackpool

or even stunt falls and batman at Movie World Madrid.

But I thought it was about the favourite ride in Orlando

SheiKra is my favourite ride of all
