There's a few topics here that are really touchy, although I don't recall this one in the past.
The worst of course is - "Refillable mugs - use again on future trips?", followed by "Pool hopping", and the one I ignited over deli hot dogs versus ball park style franks.

Fingerprinting has only been in effect since sometime in 2007.
Also, they are not APs, so even if they do have a fingerprint attached, it really won't matter. There is no identification on those tickets as to who they belong to. Also, there are so many times that guests have to have their fingerprints rescanned, even with APs, that it won't make any difference.
Standard operating procedure is to keep the line moving. SOP is also, if the fingerprint doesn't match, rescan and admit.

I say use them.

I have to agree - IF the tickets don't have fingerprint identification. We had a stack of tickets from many moons ago that basically just had waterparks left on them. I wasn't trying to "cheat" Disney at all - we asked if we could use them up and they said "not a problem". In fact, they even scanned them for us to see what was left and wrote it on the tickets for us. We've even given them to people who've bought parkhoppers without options and they've used them without a problem Mind you - this was before fingerprint identification...but Disney will honour any unused ticket - just ask them nicely.

I don't consider it cheating when one has bought a tic with limited amt of days on it and gifts it to another, esp when at the time of purchase the intention was probably to be used by the beholder rather than an intent to share. A limit of 10 days were purchased, and a limit of 10 days are used. However, if someone purchases say an AP that has unlimited days on it and lets the neighborhood "borrow" it then yes, I would consider that a different story. Seems like that would more of an attempt to fraud. So basically you're left with legal vs moral. Personally, i'd go with moral and share the tics. jmo

Yes, you did start the hot dog throw down....I always start the mug fight and the pool hopping one can go either way. Let us not forget about parking..that one can get yucky too.
