I think we've taken 5 criuses and smoke has never been an issue. I could see how it might be but it never has been an issue for us. We also try to watch Illuminations from the viewing area next to the cruises and smoke has never been an issue there either and we're maybe 5 feet from the boats.

Actually, the family we're sharing with are BC concierge guests. That's how we got it. And we lucked out by splitting the price tag too.

If they have beer then DH will be happy. I will not, however. Still thinking of bringing the bottle of bubbly with me as part of the celebration.
Any glasses with that package, or was it strictly cans?

I'm tryin, but I keep stumbling.

DDoll, I'm betting they would allow the champagne. But to be save, I'll rent one of those racer boats and bring it out to you.

OR, I'll use my Tinkerbell disguise, fly down the guide wire and drop it in your boat.

OR, I'll steal one of the dry docked Nemo submarines (Look Sg, Nemo is back in today's discussion), scoot out into the bay and hand it over the side of your boat.

Allow me to be a complete buzzkill. You'll have to steal that Sea Raycer because they're not available after 5 PM. There is no guide wire to slide down in Epcot. You'll need a crane to even get that dry docked Nemo sub into the water, and then figure out how to power it.

You'd do better to just hijack an Illuminations work boat.

They had a cooler for the water and sodas and a carry tote for the chips. The usual sodas are coke products but we are a Mountain Dew household. A 6 of MD was onboard even though it is a Pepsi product.

So does that mean they asked you what kind of soda you wanted?

Did they have plastic cups for you to use with your soda too? I don't mind plastic, but we can't drink champagne out of the bottle. SG said they had cups, right?

In the past, they did have cups.

rofl. Now THAT was funny.
We've not been bothered by unruley weather in the world more than we have. Never done the boats b4 but glad to hear many different views.... mostly positive from this site. Like I said, sounds like a party. We'll have to give it a try one trip. Have fun and please report. Always looking for a good new reason to enjoy bubbly.

Re: Has Anyone Done the Illuminations Cruise Recently?

I have some pictures taken from a pontoon boat tied just to the right of the central pier in a trip report.

This would be a link.

There's plenty of other pictures starting on page 7 or 8.
