We love Stitch - Disney has too few characters aimed at boys...and the pins are very popular and hard to find when trading, but we saw this show on YouTube and it was really lame. Maybe they will go back to the drawing board and make a decent show this time....

I have to say that I am not surprised. When we were at MK last month i saw the show being performed a couple of different time (although we didn't stop to watch) but there were only a handful of people watching it each time we went by. And when i say a handful i really mean only a handful. Less than 20.

I didn't even think about YouTube. I looked the show up and I have to say I'm surprised it lasted 2 months--that was AWFUL!

It's a shame that they spent all that money on refurbishing that area. I saw the You Tube video and was not that impressed. We were, however, going to watch it at least once.

Oh well, I hope they think of something great to do with that area.

Whatever they replace the show with, I hope they add some type of roof - sounded like it would be pretty hot to stand there in the sun to watch a show.

Stitch is over. Im amazed this idea even got off the ground. I was equally suprised that Alien Encounter was replaced by stitch.

What characters after The Lion King have stuck as Disney mainstays...Pocohontas, eh...Bolt? could have some following but probably not. All of the great characters have come from Pixar.

Put in a song and dance show with Chip, Dale and Goofy in some silver suits and you'll pack 'em in.

Big surprise!

Children under the age of 8 hardly even know who Stitch is & I think the older crowd in general never really warmed up to him as much as Disney wanted us to. Bring the show to Tokyo Disneyland, where people actually love that character.

I know some people feel Pixar gets pushed too much but it's popular & kids love the characters. I think a stage show using the Incredibles in Tomorrowland would go over better than Stitch.

That being said, I am going to try & catch this show after we arrive on the 24th just to see what we'll be missing.

We never warmed up to Stitch, so for us, it is no great loss. Like Ddoll, I was hoping that it was the ride that was closing. The ride / attraction is nothing more than a simple change from the original FX, and while it is not as scary as the original, can can well do without it (IMHO).
