I'm really not sure I like this new trial design. I'll be mobbed if the central location were the only location to get the FPs. On the other hand if they keep the ride kiosks and then add this new central location (like they have in the testing period), wouldn't that mean that the FPs would run out quicker because more kiosks are available?

I almost think the 'central location' would work better in epcot b/c it's so huge. Having one on each side near Innovations (maybe each handling the rides on the side their one), and then maybe having another one at the American Adventure in WS.

I still think a majority of people do not use the FP when we usually go so it has always been nice. We usually walk right on the rides.
I don't like the Sept/Free dining = equal lines comment though! We are going then! I am in for a RUDE awakening I think!

If I was going in peak season, I would gladly pay $30/pp to have a FP. Most people would not buy them and it might even be a quicker wait. Why not? I mean they charge $50 now to park hop.

I disagree withthe "Free dining/sep = same line size for FP"- maybe we've just gotten lucky- we really only had to get/use FP for a couple of rides, otherwise the lines weren't bad at all.... fingers crossed for the same this Sept!

Omygoodness, I can just imagine what a mess this is going to be. I thought that the fastpass system worked just fine as it were (meaning most non regulars didn't know what to make of the fastpass and opted to stand in long lines, leaving fastpasses for us to use). Why are they messing with this?

Is the only place to obtain FP's in AK right now or can you still get them at the original FP machine locations? Will they still be doing this test when I'm there in 2 weeks?

Ok MB friends.... it is time...

There is a little bridge behind Rafiki's planet watch- yeah....waaayyy in the back of the park. There are 50 fastpass machines there. But, you have to go RIGHT at opening or you won't get one! They sell out super quick!

Ok...shhhh..quick! Let's get our FPs!

I really couldn't lead someone astray...at least not that far! LOL! Sorry couldn't resist! *smirk*

So everyone is going to be running to the same place at the same time to get FPs every morning? Sounds awful.

From what I read this is a TEST and the regular FP machines are still up and running!

Ahhh man-I wish we had seen this while we were there to have gone to check it out. We never went back to Animal Kingdom once they started this though if my memory serves right.

I think FP works the way it is right now. It's confusing enough for people to figure it out the way it is-please don't make it any harder for the foreign backpack troops
