Blizzard Beach Annual Rehab typically takes place from late December ? mid-March. Hours subject to change without notice.
I got this from Deb's Unofficial site. I assume that Typhoon Lagoon (my favorite) is the about the same. The hours are posted through the end of Oct. so maybe Nov. will be posted at the end of this month.

I would think that temperature wise it might be a little too chilly to visit a water park in November?

We share a magic day, we share enchanted nights
It's a neverending story and together we all find

The water parks are fine in November. We've been many times and always go to the parks or the pool. I think Typhoon Lagoon will be closed in November. That is the traditional schedule they follow. Blizzard Beach remains open until the reopen TL and then BB goes down for rehab. The pools are all heated so the water feels fine and the temp can still be quite warm in FL, even in November.

Speaking of water parks being open, what goes on with River Country? It seems to have a strange schedule, and I never know when it's going to be open or not. Have they closed it for good?

Water parks

The WDW web site shows that Blizzard Beach will be closed from Oct 26 - Nov 30th. I just called and spoke with a CM and she said that it is closed from Nov 1 - Nov 30.
My family and I will be there from Oct 24 to Nov 1 and was wondering if anyone had heard anything else. I am getting the feeling that with only one water park open that it might get a little crowded.
I was also upset b/c I have never been to Blizzard Beach and really wanted to check it out.

Thanks for all the help. :)

Gosh, I am wondering why you would think that it would be too chilly during the day in November. It is usually in the 80's still.
Florida winter genreally doesn't start until late Dec or early January and then one can almost alway swim year round.

I just got my packet from DW with my luggage tags and all. On one of the papers it says that for your information River Country will be closed during your visit. I thought that was odd because it has been closed for a long while now and there was nothing else about anything else that might be down. I am sure that WDW would not have the 2 water parks open if the weather was not warm enough to swim most days....so go and have fun. We are going to go to both of them in October!

Trust me, when I say that last Nov. it was to cold to go to any water park or Resort Pool. DH and I spent 11 days last Nov., and only had one good day by the pool...
It was very chilly!!! Only wore shorts once, the rest of the trip was jeans and sweatshirts. Infact, only one day got to 80.
We are hoping for a much warmer Nov. this year for our trip!!:nervous JOANN:)

Weather is totally unpredictable! I am hoping for warm days on our trip. Last year (Dec.30-Jan. 2) there were people in the pool every day. But you just can't know for sure until your big trip gets here. If it is too cool, there are plenty more things to do!

There are a lot of Floridians that are praying for cold weather because we are tired of the heat. ;) Sorry but, I do hope it is cold for the Christmas break. That is what a heated pool is for.

too cold

When my family and I visited during December a few years back, the weather was FREEZING -- high in the 40s -- very cold. As a matter of fact, the weather reports stated that it was the coldest winter in years...I think it even snowed in Jacksonville. Nonetheless, we went swimming in the deliciously warm pools and had a gay 'ol time. Now, getting from the pool back to the hotel room is a different story, but hey, I was on vacation. A little cold snap would never dampen the spirits!
