I miss the hour early entrance

One thing I took advantage of last year 2001, that they got rid of this year 2002 is the hour early entrance to certain parks on certain days for those staying at the resorts. I really liked this setup because it was nice to walk the park and take in the sites without the sea of people covering it. Not all the rides were open yet, but some were. They said they replaced it with morning character visitation at the resorts. They said it was what guests wanted. That may or may not be the case, but I personally like the hour early entrance. Oh well, its still a great trip. :)

Brad,
I also miss EE. I heard that they originally did it because of 9/11. Then they polled resort guests. They didn't ask people if they missed EE, though. What they asked them was whether not having EE would keep them from staying on-property. Most people said that it wouldn't, so WDW didn't , and may not ever, bring it back. It's cost-effective for them, and, after all, it is a business. Having said that, yes, I understand their point of view, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

Snowmedia,

I recommend that you write to Disney - I know tons of people have. You can even do it online. About 3-4 weeks after I wrote through the Disney website, I received a call from someone at Disney.

I suggested E-ride mornings (in other words, I'd pay for Early Entry!) or giving resort guests extra fast passes. I understand the economics, but I don't have to like it...
