Blast II: Shockwave to rock EPCOT this summer
Blast! the Broadway show crossed with a drum and bugle corps, Riverdance and Stomp that rocked the America Gardens Theatre at EPCOT last summer is coming back, in a new style.
Star of Indiana, the drum and bugle corps that put together Blast! for Broadway and London's West-end in 1999, has created a new show, a sequel to Blast!, Blast II: shockwave Blast! is an amazing show that has brass music, percussion (amazing percussion actually), outstand choreography, and limitless energy that has stunned audiences across the US and in London, as well as PBS viewers here in the US. Blast II: Shockwave is built upon where Blast! left off, adding only higher energy and a woodwinds ensemble. Blast II: Shockwave will be opening at EPCOT on June 15, 2002 and is included in your EPCOT admission. For more information about Blast! check out their site at www.blasttheshow.com I'm so excited about this show! It opens the last night I'll be at WDW. I will be spending my day at EPCOT that day! I had a chance to see the full show of Blast! in Cleveland a few weeks ago and was a mazed by it. If you're in WDW while Blast II:Shockwave is playing, don't miss it! I haven't seen it yet, but I can guarantee you that you will love it if it's anything like it's parent show!

We saw the Power of Blast at Disney's California Adventure. It is a permenant show there, they even built a huge theater just for it. It was great, and I couldn't believe how much fun it was for kids and adults. We even purchased the DVD from Amazon after getting back. My kids love to watch it. The show we saw was a condensed version, they only did five numbers. I would assume the one at EPCOT will be the same way. If you are going to be there during the show's run, make sure that you see it atleast once.
By the way, any idea where it will be playing at? |

Sorry, I left out where it will be playing. I'm not sure, but I'd assume it'll be at the America Gardens theatre. That's where Riverdance was in 2000, and Blast was in 2001.
