My cousin bought two 7 day park hopper passes (expires May 13th) but only used 1 pass and part of the other pass. She has given me the second pass that still has 6 days left. I'll be going for a short visit with my DH and sons next week and was wondering whether the pass can be split - we'll be there for 3 days. I'm thinking that it won't be possible but if someone can confirm this I would appreciate it. I just think that buying another pass is such a waste since there will still be 3 days left on it after our visit. Do you know if we can get a refund for the unused portion? Thanks.

Good question. I don't believe you are allowed to split tickets once they are purchased. The cost of entrance to the parks decreases the more days you buy. So, if you could split tickets, it would be cheaper for a family of 6 to buy a six day hopper pass, and then split it into six parts. That example is a little overboard, but you get the idea. I know that you can upgrade tickets, but I don't think you can downgrade them or get refunds once they are purchased. One good thing is that the unused days of park hopper passes never expire, so at least your extra days can be used during your next trip.

These passes actually do expire - they were a special offered to Canadians and expire May 13th. I guess we're out of luck!!

It sounds like the pass that you have are actully Park Hopper Plus pases, and the deal was buy one 7 day at full price and get the second a half price. It was about $160.00 savings offered to the Canadians, or the French speaking internet savy. Knowing the above, no way Disney is going to let you split up or even up grade.
