WOW!!! I'll be down there the Dec. 7-12 so I'm calling today! Thanks so much for the info! One question though. Does anyone know what the show times are? If I know ahead of time, I can work around that so I know what the plan is before I call. Alfredo's here we come!!!! Yum!!!!:D :D

All I can find is times for last year:
Quote:
Show times are 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15 p.m. On Sunday, Dec. 2, only the 8:15 p.m. show will be available for Epcot day guests.
I hope that helps!

Does anyone know the setup of the theater where the CP is at? Are all the seats good? We are thinking of eating at the Garden Grill for our package and just wondering if those seats are decent (I think its in Tier 2 or 3). Thanks so much!

Do they have the seating area roped off until a certain time? Say a show starts at 5pm, and you want to go sit down there at 4pm, can you just go sit and relax and wait or do you have to stand and wait in a line until they start letting groups in?

They won't open the standby or the dinner package line until about 4:30. Actually, they all(the cm's)run around like a chicken with their heads cut off before they finally start letting people in.

FYI

I called yesterday and made our reservations! We are set for the Garden Grille. There were some weird time constraints (only available times were between 5-6pm). We will be in AK before we go to Epcot. For you Disney vets, what time should we leave AK to get to a 5:50pm PS at Garden Grille?

I am ready to go right now!!!!!

I would allow one hour for transport between the AK to Epcot.

Candlelight Processional Questions

I see the Candlelight Processional begins Nov. 18th and we'd like to go on the 21st. If I call WDW Dining will they have the dates for the show? Does it run every day at 5:00, 6:45 and 8:15? If we book the dinner pkg at Garden Grill it is Tier 1. Can anyone report what the seating is like for that area? Would we do better to just skip the dinner pkg and line up early?

There are no specific places for Tier 1,2,3. The reserved seating is in the first half,or under shelter half of the American Gardens Theater. It is on a first-come,first-served basis for the dinner package guests. Facing the theater, the package people line up on the left of the theater. Depending on the popularity of the celebrity,it might be a good idea to get a package if you really want to see him/her be the narrator.

Definitely do the dinner package. It saves waiting in the long general admission line -- and unless you get in that line fairly early there's a chance you might not even get into the America Gardens Theatre before it fills up.

Dab,

I would definitely do the dinner package if I were you too. My family and I did the package last year and we had a great dinner at the Rose and Crown and then we were able to walk right into the America Gardens Theater to the reserved seats without having to wait in line at all. It was great and well worth it! You will love the Processional if you have never seen it before - it was a great start to our Christmas season last year (we saw it on November 30) and I am disappointed that I will not be able to kick off my holiday celebrating with the Processional again this year!

Thanks for responses. Sadly we won't be able to catch it this year. I thought the CP begins Nov. 18th and called to book the dinner package. I was told it actually starts the 28th so it looks like we'll have to wait till our Christmas trip... perhaps next year.

It seems that each year the list of narrators comes out later and later. I wouldn't worry about it though. You could probably still get a package when the list comes out.
