disney photographers

Hi everyone-
I was wondering if anyone had ever used the disney photographer?

we're thinking of doing this on our trip in September, we haven't had family portraits done recently and though what a great idea.

I called last week and got all of the info-but I was interested in anyones personal experience?

quality of pictures, what location you choose? Any information would really help with our decision.

Thanks in advance!

Lauren

So you don't mean the photographers who take your picture when you enter Main Street?

I think there's an actual photography studio somewhere on Main Street, isn't there? Or maybe I just dreamed it...

My DH and I received as part of our "Romantic Choice" option a professional photo session in EPCOT w/ the Disney photography studio. He met us at the park very early AM and we finished the session (which took about 90 minutes) before World Showcase even opened. We received the leather album in the mail a few weeks later and it was beautifully done. Professional quality photos. Our pics were taken in front of each of the countries, so it looked as if we traveled throughout all of Europe for our honeymoon!!

I highly recommend them. I have the information at home. If no one posts it by tonight, I'll be sure to look their number up for you.:)

It was pre-opening. They have to do it this way or you'd have a slew of passer-by's in your pics.

Not that there's anything wrong w/ that, but I'm sure if you're shelling out the cash, you'd like something a bit more personal.

thanks:D

I really wanted to know how they were presented, quality, etc.

the album sounds great. did you have the option of buying extra pictures? How many pictures did you get?

The person I spoke with said because there was only 3 of us we'd probabally end up with about 24. He also recommended MK since we have a 5 year old.

Any more info would be great thanks again

Lauren

Lauren... We hired a Disney Photographer for our wedding. It was just as Wesleyba said. We had an hour or so with our photographer and he took lots of pictures of Dh and I at the Wilderness Lodge. He was very professional. Several weeks later we received a leather photo album filled with professionally matted photographs. Only the best shots made the album, the rest were placed in a plastic envelope. We were given an order form and could order any additional pictures for an additional cost.

The album is white, leather-like material and about 5 or 6 inches thick. I'm guessing that it holds 25 pics (there were probably 50 pics in all) and the album was sprinkled with Mickey Mouse confetti.

Very nice, I highly recommend it!

That album does sound great. I remember on our Honeymoon, we took our own pictures at all the countries. Must be wonderful to have a professional album. Leave it to Disney to find out what guest like and offer it for a special keepsake. Items such as this are invaluable in the future.Price will not mean a thing twenty years from now when you still have such a wonderful album!!!

If I remember correctly, 4 years ago it was $300. And worth every single penny:love:

That sounds wonderful! I have never heard about that before. We have some wonderful pictures taken by the photographers as you enter the parks. It is surprising how good they are!
