Trip Planning
We have our first trip planned to DW in early October and want to make the most of our 7 days there and need some advice on the best order to see the parks. Are there certain days that are best to visit each park? We're arriving on Friday morning and will be at DW right after lunch.
-Does it make sense to visit the Studios on Friday afternoon because it doesn't take as long as the other parks? -Saturday seems like a good day for the MK and it's open until 9 -Sunday hit a waterpark -Monday see Epcot -Tuesday do AK -Wednesday do the other waterpark -Thursday do Epcot again and maybe the some more of the MK. Any expert opinions on this itinerary? thx |

Welcome to DC Kellerites!
You should be okay for the most part in October in regards to days and parks, so long as it is outside of the Early Magic Hour parks. Each day there is a different theme park that is open an hour earlier for Disney resort guests. Sunday - Magic Kingdom Monday - Animal Kingdom Tuesday - Disney MGM Wednesday - Epcot Thursday - MK Friday - AK Saturday - MGM So it looks like your itinerary doesn't overlap any of these days, except if you plan to do Magic Kingdom again on Thurs. Generally, the park that is subject to the Early Magic Hour gets very full on those days. October is not as busy overall, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Have a great time and have fun here at DC, there are so many wonderful people who can probably give you even more info :) |

Welcome to the BEST and FRIENDLIEST Disney site on the web! Hope you spend a lot of time here because you will find someone who can answer any question you can come up with. Here is a little more infor about days not to go to each park: Walt Disney World parks tend to be the busiest on the following days:
Magic Kingdom: Monday, Saturday & Sunday Epcot: Wednesday & Friday Disney-MGM Studios: Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday Animal Kingdom: Monday, Tuesday & Friday Extra Magic Hour mornings will have an impact on the crowds.

And don't be afraid to go to one park in the morning, take a break at the hotel or shop, then go to a different park. But the concept of your plan is going to give you the most of your time in the greatest place on earth.

Hi Kellerites! I would suggest checking out www.tourguidemike.com. It is a subscription site but he does a great job in answering your question and helping with itineraries. I'm using his site for my upcoming trip. Another good source is The Unofficial Guide to WDW. Both have really good tips. Happy plannng!
