Spectro Magic and Fireworks???

The Familly and I will be doing the MK the first week of Nov. and would love to see some fireworks. The hours for the MK are posted now for Nov. and I see on Tuesday at 6:30 there is an event called Spectro Magic.... is there any fireworks associated with this parade? We will not be there on Saturday and figure that this might be are only chance to see some fire works over the castle.

Welcome to DC Harborwhaler!
I am assuming that you have never been to WDW before?
Well you have come to the right place
You will find everything you will ever need to know about WDW and Disney ANYTHING here!
:)
Now to answer your question.......
I'm afraid to say that Spectro Magic does not have any ffireworks in it(Since I last saw it):(
But it is a spectacular show
There are hundreds of DCers who have posted pics of it on DC!
:D :)
The only show that has fireworks over the castle is a show called Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks which is also a great show!
If that is posted as to be showing during your trip........
That is what you would want to see for fireworks!
Another great show in WDW with fireworks is Illuminations Reflections of Earth(A fireworks show in EPCOT!)
Hope I could help you!
Maybe someone else here can give you more info!
Good Luck and again WELCOME!
MoNoRaIlGoOf!

I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that when they have Spectromagic, they usually follow it with the fireworks, but with the new show debuting in October, who knows? I would call disney and ask them if they will have the fireworks the same day they have Spectro.

Spectromagic

SPECTROMAGIC is an incredible parade and I would take one viewing of that over 10 viewings of fireworks (and I love fireworks)! I think probably their best parade!

Make an effort to see it. Get an early up front seat, have a snack or ice cream and wait for an awesome treat. The lights, the colors, the costumes and the WOW music! Goosebumps!

I will give you a hint if you have not been to MK. Along the parade route look for round "plugs" in the ground about 3 inches wide. Sit close to one of these. This is where (most of the time) they will come along and pop it out, pop in a pole that has a rope on it. This is the parade "fence". If you are right at one, you will be front row and no one can get in front of you. We like the spot in front of the Hall of Presidents. We have seen the parade travel both directions, but this spot has a good view either way.

You never know, they may add fireworks after, check right up until you get there. Also, if they do it, make sure you watch for Tinkerbell. She lights the fireworks and flies from the castle over to tomorrowland (and she is a real being) !

ENJOY
:) :)

When we were last there on certain days disney had the fireworks first at 9pm and then the Spectro Magic parade and 10pm... That way you got to see both. If you do that get there early cause it gets crowded fast.
We watch the fireworks from the POLY first and then hopped on the monorail over to the MK and got a good seat for the parade cause alot of people were leaving right after the fireworks.

I love spectromagic!!! It's really quite amazing to watch the floats go by at night...as for the fireworks, you will see the new show....Wishes...that starts in October, so no one can tell you which is better yet...but it's Disney, so I am sure they are BOTH amazing!
