The Unofficial Guide to Disney World and The Passporter both have them listed in their books. What attractions do you need to know the height requirements for? If you don't have either of these books, I'd be happy to look it up for you in mine.

Check out Deb's site. Here are the ride restrictions from her. I hope this helps.

If your child doesn't quite measure up to the height restrictions and still wants to ride consider taking a pair of high heeled boots or sandals (whatever time of year) We did that and it worked perfectly to get on SM which DGD loved! Nothing was tall enought to get her on RnRRC everything else was a breeze!

Take the advice about "tall" shoes. Disney is pretty unbending about the height restrictions. If you miss by 1/4", you still are told sorry.

Not a bad policy but one that you need to know about when planning. ;)

For a complete list go to www.pscalculator.com and check the tool box option. You input your childs height and it gives the rides that the child CANNOT do.

I have to say this though in regards to the high heeled shoe to get a child on a ride. The hieght restrictions are there for a reason. The reason usually being the fact that a person under that height maynot be properly restrained on the ride. Anyone who considers trying to beat the height thing should consider what is more important: Everyone having a great time and going home safe, or trying to get on a ride and possibly having someone get hurt!

OK I'm gonna get off my soap box now!

I couldn't agree more Matto. When we went in July we did the rides my 5 year old could do and didn't worry about the other rides. There will be time for those another trip. I wanted him to return home safe. The rules are there for a reason, to keep kids safe.

My DD rode SM at the age of 3 before there were height restrictions. I would never put my DGD in danger. I checked her throughly and so did the CM to make sure she was secure. She loved it and rode 3 times.

Yes the "cheat" shoes work well for some adventures, like Splash Moutain. But with rides like RnR or others, go with the safety. But also look at it this way, if it's to add a 1/4" :D but to add anymore...like 1" :nooo: :nooo: :nooo:
Like someone said, you'll not run out of anything to do, and will add excitment to the next trip...yeah tell that to your screaming and crying 5 year old who wants to go on Splash Mountain!!, but we've all been there!

Great point Matto. I always measure my kids weeks before we leave to see what they can ride and can't ride. To be honest, we look for the thickest shoes they own. I won't go to the store seeking out super thick shoes. If my DD or DS can't ride something, I am honest with them. I tell them long before we leave what they can't ride. That way there are no tantrums at the ride entrance.

OK I don't want to start but I'm gonna get back on my soap box:

You might think a ride looks tame enough for you or that you or your child will fit in the car with no problem. But sometimes there are potential problems on a ride that visitors can't see. A hidden drop or turn. A sudden stop. Or a portable ladder that riders will have to descend if the ride shuts down. Don't think that you know more about a ride than the park does. If they tell you not to ride, you shouldn't. There's more to it then just the ride. If the ride malfunctions then people have to get out. Sometimes the height restrictions have to with that particlar aspect of the ride.
