Its less than 2 weeks AWAY!

Just SO excited to take my kids to WDW for the first time!
We leave in less than two weeks and we are all just about
to BUST!

Any special suggestions? I've been surfin' for weeks,
learning "the ropes" and really appreciating all of the
good advise and info on this site!

Thanks!
Kim.

:)

The most important thing I can think of to do at WDW is to have fun!!!!! Pick 5 attractions at each park that are must-dos and take care of them first;anything else you get to do will be bonuses. As long as you realize that you will never see everything in one trip(I've gone almost 100 times on day trips because I'm an AP'er and I've not seen everything!!),you'll be fine.

I'll repeat the advice I gave to anther first-timer if you don't mind. Have fun. Relax...it's a vacation, not a race. Do pick 5 attraction you must see (great suggestion BTW) for each park and the rest are a bonus. Take breaks at lunch time. Take time to interact with the characters and the CM's they make WDW what it is. Pace yourself and don't try to see every thing. This is a great excuse to come back again again. I hope you and your family enjoy your first trip. I am so excited for you. Your first trip is always the sweetest, but all of your trips will be magic and filled with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. My best to you and yours and please let us all hear how it goes.

Do you have a Disney chain to count down the remaining days. I made one for my last trip (as I do every trip) for my DD except this time I wrote the date and a special message on each link. It made the countdown for my DD fun. Just a suggestion.:)

So where are you going to stay on your "next" trip?
You'll be coming home...planning your next trip!
Have a terriffic trip, and when your heading home, we'll be heading down!!!!!!!

We can not wait either, it's always a new experience, with our growing children. I can never understand when people say " you have been there once, why go back" Well I need not tell this fine group of people the obvious!!

Enjoy
:D :D :) :) :D :D

Here's my advice. Get plenty of sleep before you leave. There's so much to do at WDW that you won't have time to sleep.

Have fun!!!!!

Looks like we will be there about the same time! We are leaving the in the wee hours of the 4th. We are staying at the CSR. The very first trip is so special, especially with children. Cherish every minute of it, don't miss the glow on their faces. It can get hectic and tiring and I've seen many families on the verge of breakdown so take it easy and enjoy the magic. Maybe we will pass each other!

I second the comments of those posted earlier: you won't be able to see everything so I would also pick somethings that mean the most to your family and everything else that you can do is a bonus. It is important to take breaks; relax and enjoy. Have fun.:D
