If you feel that the trip would be better without your youngest daughter your are probly right and I am sure that Grandma is just thrilled at the chance to spend the time with her... I have a different prospective.... We took our daughter when she was that young also and she remembered quite abit of it. She was a Goofy fan. I know that some of you know that my daughter passed at 11 so my prospective is don't wait too long.... you may not get another chance to spend that kind of time with her.

Don't feel guilty. We made the same decision with our 16 month old and we are going this October. The way I see it, when he is ready, he will get his chance.:D

And many of them too if I get my say... we love going to WDW!!;)

Our kids are 5.5 and 3.5 -- we were planning on waiting another year until our little one was older, but then the FTP came about...

With 7 nights for the price of 4 we figured we could afford more breaks and naps and wouldn't feel like we weren't getting our money's worth or feel rushed.

We also didn't want to "penalize" our 5.5 year old because her brother wouldn't be big enough...it is important to us to go while they both still "believe" at least for their first Disney experience.

Fortunately for us the grandparents are coming along as well so we get the best of both worlds...

I agree each family should make the decision that is right for them (who knows your kids better than you?). Good luck and don't feel guilty!!!:)

JM0318-- I am soooo sorry to hear about your loss. I thank you for sharing and believe me that I understand time is short and have taken that into consideration. However, at the same time I can not allow fear to control what I do or I would never leave for work in the morning for fear I may never see my wife and children again... I truly appreciate your view point and have considered that. Grandma is thrilled and I know that she will have an awesome time with Grandma, she will see to that!!

Again, I am sorry for your loss. I am going to go hug my girls now! Thankfuly, I know that if something were to happen we would get to see each other again in Heaven... I trust you have that assurance as well... :heart :heart

Thank you all for all your support ... I know that I will see her again in heaven.... I have no doubt of that.... It has been 9 and 1/2 years since she went to heaven. Just do not ever take for granted the time that you have with them now. My children loved spending time at Grandma's and there were times Grandma and Pa went with us.. Wonderful Memories... and again thank your for your warm sympathy..... I really enjoy this site...;)

I am so sorry about the loss of your daughter. And you are right to remind us to never take our precious children for granted.

Hopefully, you will get alot of enjoyment out of Disney Central - and welcome

Thank you llama, So many people really do not understand... Thank you all that have replied with your prayers... they are very welcoming. I sure like this Disney Central. To find so many people that love Disney the way I do means so much to me... Most people think I am just a little touched on the subject... Judy :laugh :hmmm  :heart :heart

JM0318, I just re-read your posting (and my dumb response). I appologize, I did not completely read it the first time all the way though. I am so sorry to hear of about your daughter.

I agree that it is important to seize the moments when they arise. Thank you for making me re-think what I thought I knew so well.
