Epcot
I heard that they were closing Epcot at 3:00 on Oct 8, Wednesday. This was for MS while the press was there. When I look at the hours on the disney site it doesn't state that they are closing early that day. My bother-in-law is going that week and told him not to go on Wednesday because of the park closing early. Am I right. Does anyone know?

I have been to a bunch of these closed park affairs when I attended the Lotus Software "Lotusphere" events and usually they wait until after "normal" hours and then open the park with a subset of the usual rides. I am a bit suprised to hear they would kick the public out early, but I guess if Bill is willing to dish out some big bucks they would be willing to so the MS guys could get some extra play time in:dazed . -harry

Jessie, you're a day off. Epcot is closing at 3 p.m. on Oct. 9, not Oct. 8, for what I've heard is a press event that will encompass the openings of Mission: Space, Mickey's PhilharMagic and the new Wishes fireworks show.

I remember the day I got my first annual pass(Sept.30.1999),I wanted to go to Epcot from The Animal Kingdom,but I couldn't because Epcot was closing at 4pm that day. I just figured that it was a VIP event for The Millenium Village. BTW,does anyone remember the Millenium Village?
