Questions about strollers
Now that I have introduced myself, I have a huge question for those who have been to WDW recently.
Do the strollers have belts? I need one for my 14 month old daughter. She is at the age to simply not stay put in a stroller. I was thinking of leaving home the cumbersome double monstrosity we use daily and renting one at the parks, but it all hinges on the belt issue. We are driving, so it will be no problem to take it, but it will be hard to lug around for those "alternate exit" rides. Thanks, Lynnette Last edited by MsLynn; 09-23-2003 at 03:23 AM. |

Yes, they do have belts. We rent every year instead of trying to take ours. Most of the rides with alternate exits the CMs will move it for you.:)

You may find your DS in the coach as much as the babe. I would get a double definately. My DD was six and I rented a stroller every one of the five days we stayed in 2000. It was just too much walking for her little legs. Also, with the crowds, I felt better having her in the coach where I could see her at all times. It only takes a second for a curious one to wander away. In that crowd, it would have only taken seconds to lose sight of her. Not all WDW fans are considerate of young ones and will walk directly in front of them and in one instance a woman actually knocked her over rushing to the next attraction. I will never go at Easter again for sure. I'm rambling sorry. Get the double one. If DS don't use the other side, use it for bags. Win/Win situation.:)
