WDW December park hours have been posted.
WDW Park Hours
As of yet AK hours have not been listed, and it looks like TL will close for referb. on 12/13/03, and BB will open back up on 12/14/03.

Disney is supposed to be Family oriented... the Cast Members should not be required to work on Christmas Day! I can't believe Disney is open on Christmas...

This disappoints me greatly!

I do know what you mean about having people work on Christmas day, however, from what I have heard Christmas day is one of the busiest days of the entire year, right up there with the 4th of July. I think many families would be disappointed if WDW were to close on Christmas day.

Some day I will get to WDW over Christmas to see all of the beautiful decorations. That trip will be the same trip that I stay at the GF--in another life!

I am so excited to see MK open until 11pm on 12/6!!! Whoo Hoo!!!

P.S. The AK hours are now posted....closes at 5p every day!

Disney World is open 365 days a year, and yes, Christmas Day is one of the busiest of the year. The only times I can recall WDW closing was 9/11 and the day after, and a couple of other times when hurricanes threatened the Orlando area.

Yup, we were there on Sep 15th 1999 when Mr Floyd paid a close call to the coast. They shut all the parks down that day (my birthday:cry: ), and opened DTD at around 4 pm that day. We still have the Official CSR flyers they gave everyone about what to do in an emergency....

As for christmas, remember not everyone celebrates christmas!:D

Wow!! They are showing the new fireworks show every night. Even with the early closing...amybe I'll luck out in January/February and get another night to pick from to see them. I was thinking they would be shown only on weekends. I can't say I ever seen MGM close that early before though. Cmon....January hours......soon I hope.
