Parade Question

Can anyone tell me about how long the parades last (time wise)??

Just doing some last minute planning and want to make sure we allow enough time to enjoy the parades...

Also, are any parades longer than the others?

Any tips/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks so much!
:) :)

OK This took some leg work. I had to use a few books and a web site. It looks like most of the parades are about 20min give or take a few. The fireworks are suppose to be 7min long. I couldn't get a time for Illuminations. Fantasmic!, if I remember correctly, was about 25min or so. To schedule it properly, depending on how crowded it is, I would start to find seating for the parades about 30-40min before they start and assume they run about a half hour. Sorry, it's the best I can do. :)

I always allow for at least an hour before the start of the parade to get a good seat.

Anytime. That's what we are all here for. I'm certain some of the DCers could have just told you from memory, but I wanted to be sure. That's why I used all the resources. I accidently gave the wrong information on a character meal and felt horrible about it. So I try to make sure now before I answer. Especially if I'm not 100% sure. It was no trouble at all. I'm off today.

Although it seems much longer when you're watching it, Illuminations actually lasts only 13 minutes. It sure is a spectacular 13 minutes, though.
