Keep checking MK Park Hours
Just reported on Mouseplanet:
__________________________________________ Keep checking those Magic Kingdom schedules online Disney has been extending the scheduled hours for the Magic Kingdom on-the-fly over the last week. On at least three occasions, the park has been closing an hour or more after the time printed in the weekly Times Guide, and adding additional fireworks or performances of SpectroMagic. For the latest park hours, check out the Disney World Web site (link) or check for updated Times Guides at your resort or theme park of choice. __________________________________________ Sounds like those crowds are having an effect on WDW.

Must be all that unexpected heavy traffic. Well at least those travelers expecting low crowds will have the bonus of extra hours and extra parade times. That's not a bad trade-off.:)

We noticed the park hours changing during this past week, as well as extra Spectromagic parades. That was an unexpected bonus. We also noted that many Future World rides would remain open until 9, and Animal Kingdom stayed open an hour longer.
FWIW, we did not feel like the crowds were unmanageable - we had longer lines in June and in August. Either we got lucky or timed things right b/c we had short waits on almost everything and walk-ons on many.
