Fantasmic Dinner Package

We just returned from WDW and decided to utilize the Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Dinner package.

IT WAS GREAT!

We were staying at the BC (not ever again, but that is another story) and decided to drive over. We checked in for our dinner reservations and were promptly seated at our appointed time. The food and service was great. After eating, we did a little shopping and went to the gate at 6:55 pm for the show. We got into the theater and choose to sit in the farthest row back in our section (the farther back is suppose to be the best seats) without a problem. By the time the show started at 7:30 pm there was standing room only.

THE SHOW WAS TRULY "FANTASMIC"!!!

Upon the end of the show, we promptly exited the way we came in, got our two strollers and headed to the shuttle to our car. The show was over about 8:00 pm and we were back to our hotel lobby by 8:20 pm.

Anyone wishing to see Fantasmic that doesn't want to wait in line up to two hours prior to the show, make a PS ASAP--you won't be disappointed.

I am so glad that I decided to go with the Fantasmic Package. I haven't heard anything but positive things. I am all for that no waiting in crowded line for hours thing. That's and the quick exit at the end is what sold me on it. I'm trying out the Hollywood Brown Derby for mine. I have always wanted to eat there and this was the perfect excuse.:D

Sorry, I don't get the Homer Simpson joke, but I have never watched that show. But, I did get the Fantasmic Package and it was truly a bargain. We got a wonderful meal at Hollywood and Vine and got great seats to the best show in all of DW. The place was SRO and we just got to walk in. Although they didn't let us come out where we went in, we did have a shorter walk and were ahead of most of the crowd. :D

Here's my Fantasmic 2-cents worth...
We were too impatient to save our seats, so we walked in only about 20 minutes before showtime. Of course the place was packed, but we walked all the way down to the left and managed to snag seats in the very front row on the furthest left.

Now, it was AWFUL trying to get back out of the ampitheatre, but other than that the seats were GREAT!!! :D

Some people might find it disappointing to be able to see a little bit of the action behind the scenes (floats hovering in the shadows before actually emerging, etc.) but I found it absolutely fascinating. I'd already seen the show more than once, so being able to see it from a different perspective was awesome.

I love the dinner package too

I am glad they let you book them in advance now, like regular restaruants. Before, you had to wait until you were actually at the park to book it and sometimes it would sell out. I am a planner and I love the planning you can do with Disney Dining!

Turn on an episode of the Simpson's and wait for Homer to have a moment of thinking about a donut (or anything else he loves)... I'm not proud of knowing this, but after my kids watched 8,000 episodes, you catch on.

SRO is Standing Room Only --- like at a Broncos football game.

Twenty minutes? Wow did you rent a chopper or something?;)

I'm not sure how I feel about that example roncss. My Seahawks are FINALLY starting to play well, but I have too many bad memories of John Elway shredding our poor defense.

H&V is a good meal that you are sure to enjoy! You can do a late breakfast and make that a late lunch...have some dinner later. Are you doing the Fantasmic! package with it? If so, it's double worth it. What a great show to end your trip on. Enjoy your vacation. Before you blink, you will be there. One day and counting for you! Lucky Dog!:) :)
