ideas for MOM

Hi Everyone,

We are taking a long weekend girls trip to WDW in December.
People going Me - Karen
DD 3 1/2
My Sister Jenni
Our Mom
DD, Myself and Sister have visted WDW quite a few times in the past 2-3 years. This is Mom's second trip. The last time she was there was 1979!
We are staying at the Contemporary-Tower
I am looking for something special for Mom to do.
We are going to Th Christmas party on the 7th.
Any suggestions on something we can do together, or even something Mom can do alone.
We would like to make it a special trip for her.

Another Question-My DD is dying for My Pal Mickey, ( or talking Mickey as she calls him). Can I order one and have it in our room when we get there?
How would I do that? Should I call the Contemporary?

Karen, you can call to have Pal Mickey in the room when you get there! Call the front desk of the Contemporary resort directly and ask how to go about doing it. They may be able to do it, or you can get it through GIFTS OF A LIFETIME.

Hey, I will also be there at the same time, going to MVMCP the same night as you! I have never been before and I am really looking forward to it!

We tried for CRT for 4 days we called.....no luck!
:(
So it is nice to know that another DC member got in.
We are going to call to see if there are any cancellations while we are there.
I will call the contemporary today.. Off of school for Veteran's Day.
Trying to get our PS today also
The Christmas Party is a lot of fun. We have made it a family tradition since DD was one.

Karen: We also like the Character Breakfast at Crystal Palace, MK, with Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends. This PS is easier to get and the food and staff are GREAT. We have a PS there on Dec 5 and are really looking forward to it.:D :D :) :)

Looks like a lot of DC members are going to be at the Christmas party on the 7th. Myself, CeeBeccaboo2, and a new member NumberCrunch62 are all attending together. We have Pefered seating at Cinderella's Castle that night. I am soooo looking forward to this trip!

The spa is nice and you get 10% with AP. I really enjoy the reflexology.

Thanks for the ideas... I like the spa idea. There is one in the contemporary. I figure we owe it to her. We took many long car trips when we were kids and I think she needed a spa vist many times!

I am doing this for my DD when I go in January. The resort will have it in your room waiting for you. All you have to do, is call the day before you go and pay for it with a CC. You may even be able to swing a note from Mickey for you DD. On suggestions for Mom, the spa sounds the best. A nice thing you could all do together would be a Illuminations cruise. That would be a special girls night indeed.
