Need a good place to spend anniversary evening!

Our whole family soon leaves for our first trip to WDW! We are all excited! My husband and I will be down there during our anniversary and actually get to spend the evening on our own! Where is a good place to go? Pleasure Island? Any tips would be appreciated!

Pleasure Island has a lot to offer and if you go there be sure and check out the Adventurer's Club. It is a very unique and fun place. If you are looking for a quieter and more romantic evening check this site for restraunts. http://allearsnet.com/din/dining.htm
Jiko's, Boma's, California Grill, Victoria and Albert's. There are so many elegant restraunts to choose from. Let us know what you decide! Happy Anniversary and have a wonderful trip!!:D

Happy Anniversary

What type of night would you like to have?

Something quite and romantic...I would suggest dinner at Calif Grille and watch the fireworks from there or maybe take a stroll along the beach near the Poly after dinner and sit on a hammmock together and watch the fireworks from the MK....Walk near the wedding pavallion... or up onto sunset pointe at the POLY.

Then you could head over to PI and hit some of the clubs Get a laugh at the CW :laugh

OOh have you thought about doing the re-hitching ceremony?

If it were me .. I would start my evening at Epcot in the WSC.. maybe with a nice Dinner in Italy and after Illumanations I would head over to DTD and P.I .. and yes the comedy warehouse would be on my list of *must do*

My DH and I spent our anniversary in WDW just last month. We stayed at the Beach Club on the concierge floor. For our anniversary we dined at the Yachtsman Steakhouse (it was wonderful) When we returned to our room there was a table set with linens, china, and silver and on it was a cake and a 9" tall white chocolate mickey surrounded by chocolate covered strawberries wearing tuxedo. To top it off we received a Happy Anniversary pin in a beautiful box from the resort. I was impressed because it wasn't something I planned or requested. You can however order these thing from your resort (I think only the deluxes).

Another great idea and you'd probably only get this if there is a cancellation is the Illumination Cruise. We did it last month for our DS birthday and it was breathtaking watching Illumination from the water.

Good luck with your planning and have a Happy Anniversary!!!

Paula

Summer 2002 we went to WDW and our anniverasry fell during the trip. SIce my sister was there with her kids she babysat for us the actual night of our anniversay and a wonderfully romantic (Albeit pricey) dinner at Victoria and Alberts at the GF. The food and drink were spectacular. I would hightly recomment this for a nice quite evening and then hit DTD!
