Cameras on Tours?
My DW should be called my NWHCW - Never Without Her Camera Wife. She loves taking pictures everywhere, particularly at WDW.
We're thinking about booking the 'Keys to the Kingdom' tour for our next visit. I read a review that, regarding their cameras, casually mentioned, "we were asked to leave them behind for security reasons, etc." Does anyone know, are camera forbidden on tours? This would be a deal-breaker for us. |

I could be mistaken, but I think I read somewhere that cameras are forbidden on Keys to the Kingdom Tour. Someone else might know for sure, though.

I took the keys to the Kingdom tour this last October yes Cameras are prohibited because you go behind the scenes ( backstage ) If you bring a camera or video camera or a Big backpack ( not the small ones like purses ) you will be asked to either get a locker ( under the Railroad ) or they will check it in and keep it for you

the company I work for has a few vechicles with cameras that record whats going on in front of us on the road and dinsey has requested that we don't bring those into backstage areas. we only have 12 out of 250 so its not that hard and we prefer to use them elsewhere anyway.

Yep it is just as mentioned. No cameras at all. They are very strict about this for every tour backstage. I have taken KttK and Backstage Magic. The Backstage Magic was great and they did allow (last May) you to take you camera and bag/ backpack with you to areas -on stage-. KttK will not allow you to take large bags, backpacks or larger purses. They do allow small purses and the like for you to keep you personal items etc in.
