Pictures - Shows - Wishes

Just wanted to share with you a few of the (many!) pictures we snapped of the new Fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom, "Wishes". The new show is really awesome...it was our first sight of WDW as we travelled in from the airport the day we arrived

. It looks incredible from far away, but when you see it combined with the music, the lyrics and a several thousand strong crowd of awestruck people all oohing and aahing, and then bursting into huge applause at the end....it does send shivers down your spine:wow:. Make sure you see it!

Anyway, the pics below by myself and (mainly) CeltiaCat don't quite manage to capture the full experience, but hopefully you can see some of the new firework effects that are used in the show.

I like this one coz you can see how the Castle is lit up in the style of the Sorceror Hat...

In this one, the Castle is lit up with a "Villians" style...all greens and purples. You cannot make them out in this picture, but the faces of the Disney Villians are also projected onto the Castle as well...

CM if the show is even half as good as these great pictures....I can't wait. This is such a great Disney fix. What does my countdown say? not fast enough.

Of course the Villian one is my favorite, but Sara likes the very first one.

This one hopefully shows off one of the new styles of fireworks they are using here (and at other shows I noticed a well)...

And last but not least, this one is almost at the finalé...the pixie dust from the previous one is still visible as it rains down behind the castle...

OHHHHH AHHHHHH!!@!!!!!!

Almost feel like I am there. You two took some awesome pictures. My favorite is still the Villian style one, but Sara changed hers to the purple castle with the Fantasia Hat. Thanks for sharing them with us. I needed that Disney fix.......over 20 days to go for me...you have a fast forward button you can mail me to make the time go quicker? I can't wait to see this show!
