Two Way Radios In Wdw..??
I don't really know if this is the best place to put this post..but, here goes anyway...
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to use the two way radios while in the different parks. If so, what would be the best choice?? the FRS or the GRMS frequeny?? the FRS is the 2 mile 1/2 hz and the GRMS is the one that goes up to 5 miles that requires an FCC license. Just wanted to hear from someone who had actually tried to use them... would it be worth the money ?? Thanks!!! *********** OOOOPS -- SORRY...I DIDN'T SEE THE POST JUST UNDER THIS ONE WITH THE SAME TOPIC!!! PLEASE FORGIVE *** Last edited by pjfnme; 01-06-2004 at 07:14 PM. |

Two way radios work fine in the same park, but make sure you get ones with the 40 sub-channels. Many people use these and you have a better chance of finding a clear channel with the sub-channels.
More people now just use cell phones to communicate. But there are still quite a few people using the two way radios. |
