Does the TTC....
Does the TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center) take you to any resort? I'm making a PS for my bosses family at Chef Mickey's at 8:00 one night and the MK closes at 7:00. I'm thinking right after supper they can catch the monorail to the TTC and then hop on a bus at the TTC for the Animal Kingdom Lodge??
Thanks in advance for clarifying this for me! ![]()

You can get transportation pretty much anywhere you want to go from the TTC. There are buses to all of the parks, water parks, resorts, and Downtown Disney available.
So, yes, the plan you described would work wonderfully.

You don't have to go to the TTC from MK to get to the resorts.
The resort bus area is in front of the MK area and too the left (as you are leaving). No need to take the monorail to catch the buses.

Monorail to TTC, then bus may cost you more than an hour if anything goes too slow or wrong.

there are only 3 disney bus routes out of the TTC:
1) fort wilderness/wilderness lodge 2) Disney's animal kingdom 3) Disney's MGM studios to get to dtd one must first go to a hotel there is no park to dtd or dtd to park transportation provided any more. also the do not run to the TTC to or from DTD if you are just trying to get to the AKL then you can simply board a bus at the MK, busses are pretty frequent and normally plenty of seats. its about a 18 min ride in good traffic. as you come out of the MK the bus depot will be on the left side. |

If you will be at the MK, you could walk to the Contemporary Resort. Or take the monorail. :) JOANN

ok thats more complex now.
one question will you have a rental car? and can you change the PS to say 7:15? if you have a rental car by all means drive to the cont. (be prepared at least for the driver to show photo ID) if you can change to 7:15 that at least makes the trip over easier becuase you can go straight to the MK. to get to the cont. - try to find a magic kingdom bus from the lodge, if not ask a bus driver if they have any way to get you there, normally when a bus pulls into the resort after the park closes they change there sign to say special, so no one will board. -the other option would be to check with bell services and see if they can arrange a van ride to the cont. -yes you can go to DTD and transfer but if you do plan at least a min. of 1 hour in transit time. you'd probly be better leaving at say 6:30 going to the MK and looking around the resorts. -another option is a taxi cab. getting back to akl: -going to have to go through DTD for this one. -or take a taxi (if there are kids going this would be my recomendation) |
