Fantasmic dinner package....worth it????

Hey guys! Well.....I just made a PS for Hollywood & Vine for the fantasmic dinner package..but, then got to thinking about it. Is it worth it?? I have heard several people say that the seating in the reserved section wasnt that greatm meal too expensive...etc, etc, etc.

What do you think??? We will be going on a Thursday night (May 6)....will the package be worth it?? Or would the line not seem so bad?

Need feedback! Thanks!!!!!

We have used the fantasmic package three times and plan on using it again when we go this next time. The seating was way over on one side, but we could see perfectly. We didn't have to enter the seating area until half an hour before showtime so we were able to do more shows and rides with no lines because everyone else was in line for Fantasmic an hour and a half before the show. Since our seats were near the back we were able to rush at the end of the show and be the first ones to the bus way ahead of the rest of the mob...and I do mean mob!
Hollywood and Vine is a lovely buffet with something for everyone. I know it is a tad costly but it really was worth it. Just MHO.

Hollywood and Vine is the best restaurant in MGM The Brown Derby and Mama Melrose are way too overpriced for the selections offered.

We did the H&V FDP in May of 2003 and LOVED it! It was so good and we would definatly do it again (and will be in about a month!!)

I think that for May it is well worth it. I mean the money you spend allows you to spend more time in the parks.
