Questions on Ticketmania and DisneyQuest

Is anyone familiar with the fun in the sun tickets offered thru ticketmania? Is this a good company to go thru?
Also I just read in my Passporter update that you can't use one of your hopper plus options at DisneyQuest. This really surprised me. Did you guys know this? Is it true?

According to ticket information on the Disney Web site, Disney Quest isn't part of the Park Hopper Plus package. It is, however, part of the Ultimate Park Hopper package. Sorry, but I can't help you with Ticketmania.

I don't know why I thought it was a hopper plus option. We have always had the UPH length of stay passes anyway. Thanks Parkhopper! :)

I bought Fun in the Sun tickets last year for a couple people in our traveling group. But we got them from another ticket broker.

So they were legit and the people had no problems with them? It sounds like such a great deal!

They are a great deal! The Fun in the Sun pass is a ticket that is meant for the Eurpoean tourists who typically come over to the US on an extended holiday.

Fun In the Sun Tickets

Fun in the Sun Tickets were originally created for the German Market. They have however spread to the European Market as well as England. I work at WDW in ticketing (called Vacation Planning), these tickets are good for 30 days use of all the parks at Disney including all recreational parks. They also include visits to NASA, as well as attractions in South Florida. I don't know how reliable the outfit is that you are considering, but keep in mind that you will receive a voucher that has to be redeemed by someone like me and if that agency is not on our list it could be a big headache for you.:dazed :dazed

Hiya Tigger! It is great having an expert here to answer some of our other questions. I would imagine that ticketmania is on your list just because Mousesavers highly recommends them. If you know differently, please let me know! Thanks! :)

Tickets

I'm not sure that you save very much at Ticketmania. I went to check out the sight and other than the price of a 4day plus, which we don't sell most of the gate prices they have listed are wrong. I do know that you save money if you buy your tickets online from the disney web sight. For instance it costs $221.52 for a 4day Park Hopper at the ticket booths, but it is $204. online, both are with tax included. You can also get the discount price by calling reservations as well. I'll keep checking and let you all know who has the best deal. :)

Welcome to DC, Tigger1218! We welcome your expertise on WDW tickets. Is there a way you can list the "approved" agencies on your list so we know what ticket brokers to avoid?

Ticket Vendors

I'll do some searching and get back to the boards. I'm off to Washington DC tomorrow for a death in the family, so I won't be back until Feb 18th.
