Hi everyone! I'm new to your group and this site .I'm going to WDW in November with 3 of my friends (we're all women of a "mature" age) and would like to have anyone's opinion of the Food and Wine Festival in EPCOT. Has anyone ever been to this event?

Tink's Mom, welcome to DisneyCentral.com! Honestly, the food and wine festival is the best time to go to WDW, and I don't drink, so it may be even better for you! Basically, they set up little booths around the World Showcase that have small portions of food from around the world, most of them from different countries that aren't represented in the World Showcase. They usually have two or three different items, plus one or two drinks. There are also wine tasting sessions and classes about wine. I believe there are also some private dinners where you can enjoy a specially cooked meal and wine chosen for you.

Why is it my favorite time to go? Great food, isn't crowded and a fun time for all. We usually don't eat lunch when we go during this time of the year, we just snack ourselves around the world.
