Contemporary to EPCOT

I was wondering how the transportation from The Contemporary to Epcot worked.
You have to switch to a different Monorail ? If so is it time consuming?

Thanks!!

Buzz you take the resort Monorail to TTC and then transfer to Epcot it shouldnt be that time consuming unless you have to wait for the Monorail which I dont mind because thats my favorite pasttime at disney

GETTING to Epcot is quick. as said - you take the monorail one stop to the TTC. walk all the way down the ramp and then all the way back up the other one to get to the Epcot platform and take the monorail directly to Epcot. It only takes about 5 minutes. (then there's a long walk down the monorail platform and over to the park entrance at Epcot). going back, it's all that in reverse except now you have to ride the resort monorail past the Poly, GF, and MK before getting to the contemporary. this takes about 20 minutes. :(

OK I had a totally different expirience. First, you have to take the Resort Monorail all the way around to the TTC which is all the way around the lake. Then you have to go down and get to the Epcot monrail. Next, it seemed as if everytime I got to that monorail they "needed to wait for further clearence in order to continue". Also, one time I went to take it and the monorail was broken and they had to move it and get a new one in there. Just didn't work for me.

When getting on at the Contemporary as the OP stated they would be doing, the first stop is the TTC where you transfer to the Epcot monorail.

I just know that when I was there it was the first stop after the TTC and I soooo wished it went the other way. Do they change it a lot?

Even if it does take 20 minutes...big deal. What is more fun that riding on a Disney momorail? Not much, I say...:)
