hopper ticket question
Hello all,
I'm new here and had a two-part question. I purchased 4-day hopper park Plus tickets from Dealpass (an online vacation club). I was a little concerned that Disney does not sell the 4-day passes, yet these guys do, which I guess is reasonable, but it gave some cause for concern. The tickets appear just like other tickets I've purchased. But I'm reading the fine print on the back that says: "Not valid for special events requiring a separate admission charge or for any park commencing operations after May 1, 1998". I called a Disney info. line and a very nice, knowledgeable woman stated she had never seen that language on a ticket. Any thoughts or experiences out there with this? Secondly, this will be our first experience with Hopper passes. What happens if one of our 4 teens loses their hopper pass during the 4 day stay in a park? Thanks much for any help, Kent F. |

Hi!
I might not be the best person to answer this..... but.. there was a thread that had this exact question on it ... somewhere:dazed LOL .. The answer about "wording on the ticket" was that they were trying to stop anyone from buying a bunch of tickets at a lower price(now) and selling them when a new park opens in the future. Apparently there was a problem when AK opened. Also there are many threads with differing experiences about loosing PH's, the consensus seems to be -make sure you photo copy the numbers on the backs of the PH's to make life easier if you do loose them... Good luck and dig around on these threads! There is a TON of VALUBLE info! ~Zoey

Since every park at WDW right now has been open before May 1, 1998, you will have no problem with your tickets. That wording on your tickets is standard for park hoppers now and like Zoey said, are not intended for use as admission to any future parks.
In case of loss, Disney will replace your tickets, but only if you can provide the numbers on the back of the ticket that lets Disney see how the ticket has been used up to that point. The easiest way to have these numbers is to make a photocopy of the back of the tickets and keep that copy separate from the tickets but accessible in the event of a loss. |
