Segway at Epcot

My daughter just told me about something new in Future World at Epcot, & I was wondering if anyone in DC has done it yet or could tell me about it. It has to do with a special tour on a "Segway", & is limited to about 10 people at a time. The tour takes place before World Showcase opens, so it is fairly private (& special). I was wondering what the cost is per person & how I could make reservations. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much! It gives me all the info I need to pursue our doing it. The AAA discount makes it even better. It is kind of expensive, but when we go on vacation (which always involves WDW) the whole idea is to enjoy ourselves & do things we would never get to do otherwise. We'll be there in about 8 weeks, can't wait! Thanks again.

Our kids were so disappointed that the minimum age for riding the Segway is 16... Does it mean I am a bad mom if I ditch the kids and go on that tour by myself? I am dying to try one of those things!!!

well I don't know much about it there is a store in Celebration (a town inside disney property) that rents the segways and sells them, maybe they have different age restrictions, I know you have to watch a safety video there though.

I rode one while at Castaway Cay the first month Disney offered them on the Cruise. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely consider doing the tour the next time I'm there.
